Trying not to jinx this.... This trip has been planned and booked multiple times only to have to cancel everything due to life changing our plans. We are headed North! National Parks here we come!
Our goal is to hit Rushmore, Teton, Yellowstone, Glacier, Arches, Canyonlands, Capital Reef, North Cascades, Olympic and many more on a circle trip that ends up back in Texas by the end of November. We even have an extended stay in Lake Tahoe to see their new lakeside bike trail. And a special stay at a Class A only RV Resort in Polson, MT. (Lakes, Mountains, runway right next door, heaven) We are having to change some plans as winter has a bad habit of showing up in the high country around October. And we do NOT want to battle the winter elements with the Circus.
So here is our plan....

South Dakota for Rushmore and Devils Tower w a side trip to Sturgis (just before Bike festival).
Idaho for the Tetons and Yellowstone.
Montana for Glacier, Polson and Flathead Lake
Then to Pacific NW with extended stays in Washington state N of Seattle to see the San Juan Islands.
Then to Portland to pester Amanda for 10 days or so.
Off to the Oregon coast and Bend
Then to Lake Tahoe to ride the new bike trail
And a visit to the Salt Lake City area
Next we add a stay in Moab to see the National parks in the area
Then off to the White Sands area and...
Back to the Hill Country of Texas
